Algebra 2 DP Update: 12/13/1
The project this year that I am the most proud of is my Linear Equations project. It was one of the only things that I have ever drawn that turned out well, and I was very proud of it. I learned a lot about graphing lines and forming equations during this project, so I feel like it was a very good project. This project was fun and creative, so that helped me to use my creativity to produce quality work. I thought outside of the box, and when everyone else did the traditional, “landscape” for this project, I drew a theme park. It was really cool.
Polynomials and Art
Description:
This project involved students to find a photo and bring it into class. This photo was then placed on a graph. Once the photo was positioned, students drew two polynomials that they found in the picture. These polynomials equations were then found. Afterwards, those polynomials were transferred into our own original drawings.
Reflection:
This was really creative for a math project. I really enjoyed having as much freedom as we did. Being able to draw something in math class was a really good way to teach polynomials. I really learned a lot about them just by finding the equations of the lines we drew on the picture we brought into class. Overall, this was one of the better projects I did all year. I feel like I did a good job in meeting all the requirements, and thoroughly enjoyed the process.
